I'm probably going to switch to 64-bit X-fer. My data sheets (HP/intel) seem to say that you need a 64-bit processor, 64 bit enabled BIOS, and a 64-bit enabled Chipset. In my case, that means at least a new mobo. I'm wondering if the people getting the 64-bit OS are actually getting 64-bit X-fer. If you are sure that you're getting 64-bit x-fer, please tell me what your running it on. DRB
Hey Nate, I'm having the same problem, the 64xp CD/DVD won't boot. How did you fix it?
I should probably add I am trying to install onto a system that is running XP PRO (32 bit). I am just going to delete that and run the 64 system
Deleted old version of windows, cd is still not booting. Have tried floppy boot into DOS with CD support but setup.exe on the CD 'cannot run in DOS'
