It's still going. I am using it and their BOINC manager. So any of you going to join and let your PC process in the background?

BOINC will continue the search for E.T. radio signals, but a new client also allows users to devote spare CPU power for other research projects, such as climate change, astronomy, and curing human diseases.

With the BOINC software you can run multiple computational services at once and devote time for everything from SETI to helping to cure disease and even predicting climate change.

But if you're spare PC clock cycles are not worth it, I understand.

well if ya need i have a spare rig that is doing absolutly nothignatm its a2.8 ghz amd 1800 (oced the hell outa it) and it has 1 gig of ddr 466 (oced) and a 750 gb sata drive, it was a pvr buti got a better solution now, its collecting dust but if ya think it would help ill put it to use lol,
