Welcome.
A couple of things.
What is the exact error message you are getting.
Have you activated your XP yet?
Do you run a firewall?
Windows product activation uses port 80.
To test whether you have blocked port 80 click this link http://www.microsoft.com:80

The exact message is: A webserver is already running on port 80. For best results please stop the server and restart this application.
I started to get this message after downloding update from Microsoft. I also only get it on my account on this PC - I can log in as another user and not get this message.
Thanks for the help.

OK,first of all do you have Automatic updates enabled?
If you have got them enabled, right click "My Computer" select properties. On the Automatic Updates tab put a tick in Turn off automatic updating.I want to update my computer manually, and then click apply.
Also look in your Startup folder on the programs menu, and if your internet connection is listed there, remove it.
Now Reboot.
If you still have the problem, post again and we'll look for another solution.
