On-line Video
Being stuck with dial-up for awhile longer, I've never messed with online video. I've upgraded to 1gig of ram, have Windows Media Player 9, and Real Player. When I go to one of BB's links to Youtube(the Rastafarian), the video loads for 6min, plays for 2sec, loads for 6min, plays for 2sec, etc. Is this just a consequence of dial-up or am I missing a setting someplace? I don't know anything about this area yet, but I'd think that this machine should do better than that. Any thoughts?? DRB

dial is slow
it will take you like 5 hours to download 30 megabytes
and only 1 - 3 minutes on high speed
you will be waiting a long time to watch that video
nothing you can do
think of sucking a sewer pipe worth of info through a straw

I know. That's why I have WMP-9 instead of WMP-11. I just know you guys are conspiring to get me to spend another $50 a month! Yeah, I have to warm up to the idea. Just thought I'd ask. Thanks! DRB
