A good slipstreaming tutorial.
http://www.justinwojas.com/bootcd.htm
Some basic directions:
WinXP+SP1 Slipstreaming guide
##==========================================##
By doing this you will get a bootable Windows XP cd with the SP1 already installed....
What you need..
Windows XP Final bootable cd
Service Pack1 FINAL!!! (xpsp1.exe 133MB ish)
A Cd-Writer
A Blank CD
Nero Burning Rom
WinXP Boot Image
1) copy ALL the files from the original windows XP cd to a folder eg c:\xpfiles
2)put the XP Service Pack final file (cabinet compressed) in a folder eg c:\xpsp1
3)Goto START>Run and type in
c:\xpsp1\xpsp1.exe -s:c:\xpfiles
type that in exactly,it will then begin to extract the service pack to a folder with a silly name of random characters, then a window will come up saying "Installing service pack to your network installation" or something like that
OK, thats the installation files updated now to make a bootable cd....
4) Load up Nero (Close the wizard if it loads) , and choose CD-ROM(BOOT)
5)It will now ask you for the Bootable logical drive image (default A
Click Image File, then browse and point to the xpboot.ima [download the required Image File (xpboot.ima) from the attachment on this post]
6)Enable expert settings (if not already enabled) and select NO EMULATION
Change the BootMessage to MICROSOFT CORPORATION (Im sure this can be anything really, will let you know in a minute)
Segment stays at te default 07c0
Change Number of Loaded Sectors to 4
7)Click on the LABEL Tab, enter the Volume Label as WXPVOL_EN for Corporate Build or whatever is correct. Enter MICROSOFT_CORPORATION as the "Publisher" and "Data Preparer".
8)Click BURN Tab and make sure "Write", "Finalize CD", and Write Method of "Disc-At-Once" are checked.
9)Click ISO tab to check. The defaults on this tab are correct - they are ISO level 1, Mode 1, ISO 9660, Joliet
10)Click "New" in the right corner to add the 'slipstreamed' XP+SP1 files from c:\xpfiles.
Add files with Drag & Drop as normal. When you have finished with your files, select the "Write CD" icon or "File, Write CD"
After doing all this, the TOTAL compilation size was 515MB
11)Select Write and burn your new slipstreamed XP+SP1 Bootable CD

The Nero guide that Rev has posted the link for is particularly good, and should show you an effective method on get the job done. If you have any problems getting your slipstreamed copy to work or are still unsure then let us know and I will try and help you through any further queries.
Good Luck
