    i installed it
    works good i guess...
    sygate bitches about a couple of things wanting to get internet access
    i get it everytime i bootup
    i can live with it

    i tried to uninstall sp1 but it failed

    btw
    i choose to archive the replaced files just so i could uninstall

    Once you do the clean install all will be fine. Initially I installed over an older SP Beta just to see if it would work. On restart, Sygate warned me about a blocked communication, traced it to Microsoft! After the clean install I had no such repeat of that incident.

    I don't know if I'll install or not...Xp is running just fine at the moment so I don't see a need unless a big performance boost is possible.

    Down the road with a PC upgrade I may need SP1 , until then....why ?
