When you reinstalled XP did you reinstall your network card drivers?
I just recently replaced my hard drive and re-installed WindowsXP home edition, and now it won't let me connect to my LAN line. It shows that it's connected, but doesn't let me actually use it. I tried to repair the connection, but it says it can't without the IP address and stuff. Is there something I need to update? Or is it just my LAN line messing up? I never had this problem until I replaced my hard-drive.....

Repeat after me: I WILL use Google before asking stupid questions.
Anatidaephobia: The fear that somewhere, somehow, a duck is watching you.
I would, if I could find the disks...and I can't download new drivers because I can't connect...Windows loads a 1394 Net adapter automatically, but that doesn't seem to work.
Then use the computer you are using to post to download the drivers and burn em to a disk.
