Sp1
Evening: installed SP1, chose to archive the old set up just in case
Everything works okay with SP1, the questions is how do I locate and uninstall the archive? In control panel add/remove can only locate to remove SP1. I did see a new directory "servicepackfiles" will removing that remove the archive? thanks very much. great forums, have found all kinds of info in my searchs

Yes you can just uninstall SP1 through the Add/Remove option in control panel.

hi:
if you want to keep sp1 and decided you need extra disc space and you want to delete the archived files xp saved during sp1 installation
its located here on a standard installation
C:\WINDOWS\$NtServicePackUninstall$
