    Hi Jack This log

I have a friend who keeps getting a error message on his screen about saservice.exe
It basically says that there was a error with this and a report has been generated and so on.
It keeps coming up as he proceeds to browse or work on his cpu.

I had him install and run Hi-Jack this and generated a log that I will post below.
On this log I did delete the items in red, but I wonder if there is anything else here that looks suspicious??
I am not sure if that service (saservice.exe) is a trojan by the way it acts or simply a pest from McAfee Site Advisor.
Any way, is there a way to end the error message or am I overlooking something??

    He is running Windows 2000

A component of McAfee called Site Advisor Service is "saservice.exe"

Contact McAfee support or disable Site Advisor in McAfee if it can be done.

    or try here http://forums.mcafeehelp.com/index.php

Thumbs up Hi Jack This Log

It seems that after cleaning up his computer from a few other nasties, updating site advisor to the latest version cleared out the error message that he was getting.
Apparently he was just overwhelmed with spyware and a few trojans and after doing that clean-up and updating his site advisor, all is well.....
NOTE: I attempted to acess his defragmenter and for some reason it was not shown. so to rectify for now, I gave him a program that brings out the defrag utility when hidden and what a difference in his speed. He had never ran the utility....
    This is for W2K users...

That utility can be seen HERE: http://www.snapfiles.com/get/autodefrag.html

    Thanks for your help.....
