    Small XP home question

Hey guys,Maybe someone here can answer this question for me as i have never tried what i am asking.Im about to install a fresh copy of XP home on a friends PC.They have there XP home CD and key however there CD is very old (one of the first XP home CD's without SP1 or 2) so i was wondering since i have an XP home SP2 CD could i use it to install XP with there key eliminating the time that it would otherwise take to install SP2 and most updates?I never tried this so i dont know if the key will work on a SP2 CD or not.Any answers would be great

Should work fine. I've used the same key with the origional XP Pro to Xp Pro with SP2 integrated.

Retail to retail and oem to oem but I don't think you can mix them.
The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
