these guys have a demo program to fix your dbx file

    http://www.officerecovery.com/outlookexpress/index.htm

    get the demo and see

    its really expensive

maybe you should give the xp system restore a try

first backup the dbx file and then create a system restore point

    start menu
    all programs
    accesories
    system tools
    system restore

    create a restore point

    call it corrupt database

    save

now go back and do a system restore

go back the earliest you can

    when you know it worked

    after your reboot
    try it

    if it worked

    save your file

i dont know if it would work because system restore is not supposed to delete certain files but its better than paying $300

now use system restore and go back to your original state

    goodluck
