My IE 7 has slowed down
My IE 7 has slowed down since I installed & uninstalled programs in an effort to find something that works on Vista.
My IE's speed is to slow.
I tried System Restore & Sfc /scannow.
If I downloaded IE 7 from the net & installed it, would it over write my
IE 7's errors or mess up my PC?
I really like IE because it works with Site Adviser.
Thanks

The update said that it does not apply to my PC.
I turned off the antiphishing filter. Will that cause me to be phished? What are the odds of it? Will my PC be in danger?
Thank you very much Mr Reverend.

It wasn't slow before.
Advice? Anyone?
Thank you anyway Mr Reverend.

You are not alone Veronica. My browsers were so slow that I was getting server resets and time out notices if not, blank web pages or pages missing scripts. Since I removed my router, only one website is slow. I'm not sure what is going on. My ISP is comcast.

I'm not sure what you mean by slow. Slow starting, slow loading pages, slow connections. Since removing my router my speeds increased a lot:
Last Result:
Download Speed: 16210 kbps (2026.3 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 360 kbps (45 KB/sec transfer rate)
Before:

Try this to test your speed: http://www.speakeasy.net/speedtest/

May your homepage has more junk they added to it - such as flash and/or advertisements. Here is a typical Myspace page wanting to load four more URL's to the page. One or more server might be slow and show that the page is taking longer to fully load.

I just tried http://www.earthlink.net/ and it's pretty fast. How about http://google.com - is that slow as well?

Is that Tor park browser you are using? Aka Xb browser aka XeroBank browser?
What is that, that is blocking things?
When I get the Earthlink Login page it is fast. After I sign in to get into my email, it is slow. I see 1 blocked advertisement. This happens only with IE 7.
Thanks
