Unhappy Outlook 2007 - where is deleted stuff (if anywhere)

My Nokia phone synch programme has deleted all my Notes from Outlook. No idea why since conflict resolution is set for PC to take precedence over phone. ARGH.

The deleted notes are not in the deleted items folder in Mail, where they have gone previously whwen deleted 'by hand'.

I have done a global search of 'computer' for some of the keywords in the lost Notes, to no avail?

Is there any way to recover them?

What version of Nokia suite do you have? Do you have any other sync-toy running? How are you connecting the PC + Phone (usb, Bluetooth)?

Are you able to restore a backup?

Latest version, downloaded about a month ago.

    No other sync toys.

    Bluetooth.

Back-up: nothing that was lost was stored, all written since last back-up, unfortunately.

My basic hope is in the popular theory that 'nothing is ever really completely deleted' and the talk of forensic types being able to restore everything and anything... but that soulnds like expensive work, if it can be done at all.

Ah, well. I guess I rebuild from (my) memory as far as I can. Thanks for giving it some thought.
