Messenger is back with SP3
I’ve just downloaded and installed SP3 for Windows XP and everything’s fine except that SP3 added Windows Messenger to my start up menu and places it in my systems tray.
I’ve tried to delete it through the msconfig command but it just keeps returning the next time I start up my PC. It’s not activated and I’ve never used it so I would prefer to get rid of it altogether.
How do I do this?
Thanks in advance

you could try to go to start run then type services.msc and go to the properties of the messenger service and change it to manual.
