    Printing 300dpi on microsoft word

hello everyone, i'm making this catalogue on microsoft word, but i'm having some problems with printing. The guys at the printing company said they print at 300dpi. so my catalogue has pictures which would be printed really tiny if they were printed at 300 resolution.

i need to know how to set microsoft word's printing resolution... thanks
    have a nice day

dpi (dots per inch) refers to the quality of the image and not the size.

A higher dpi will be less grainy but the image dimensions will remain the same. Similarly a low dpi will be grainy but again the image size remains the same.

what about the printing resolution, the images on the word document would be smaller since their resolution is 72 and the printers resolutions is 300, right?
