    Windows Defender comes with it (preinstalled). When I downloaded Firefox, Windows told me it was scanning it for viruses. So something must be there. I'm going to try AVG today.

    I reformatted and installed Windows 7 last night but I couldn't install any of my motherboard's drivers including LAN so no internet. Good thing I made a backup of my Vista install.

    What MB do you have Conan? Do you think P35 series should work or more dependent on individual boards?

    It's an Asus P5Q P45 motherboard. I did a clean install so even the Intel chipset driver refused to install.

    I installed mine in a VirtualBox VM...it isn't fully supported (drivers) but it runs ok other than that.
