Windows Media Player Toolbar not showing [FIXED]
Hi Guys,
I recently had an issue that my Windows Media Player toolbar was not showing up on the taskbar. I have Windows XP Pro on a domain (so probably a GP issue)...
The main issue was taskbar toolbar option for WMP10 'mini-mode' was not in the list (where QuickLaunch, AddressBar etc are)...
I found a fix for it, enter the following commands in the "Run..." box.
C:\WINDOWS\inf\unregmp2.exe /ShowWMP /SetShowState
regsvr32.exe "c:\program files\windows media player\wmpband.dll"
regsvr32.exe c:\windows\system32\wmp.dll
Try selecting the toolbar in the list now. You might have to log-off/log-in to load the DLL into memory.
Goodluck!
