Make sure you have grabbed all previous updates for Vista via Windows Update before attempting to install the service pack otherwise you may get installation errors. In particular the System Update Readiness Tool.

it is more for the server 2k8. I manage all the Ghost images and the WSUS server.

I had no clue that the SP2 was out already. I think I have been a bit out of the loop
