PlayStation 3 fans will be able to cram more games, music and movies onto the console thanks to a pair of new models that sport expanded hard drives.

Available immediately is the 160GB model, which replaces the 120GB model in Sony's roster and is priced at $299. On September 19, Sony will replace the 250GB model with a 320GB model priced at $399.

The latter is available only as part of the PS3 Sports Champions bundle, which includes the Move motion controller, PlayStation Eye camera, and a copy of the Sports Champions game.

"These new higher capacity models will continue to offer the same advanced features and functions of the current models, but with approximately 33 percent more capacity and at compelling price points," said Sony hardware marketing director John Koller, in a blog post Tuesday.
