Can't open links also

I have a friend who when she gets a link in the email, nothing happens when she clicks on the link. She is using XP Pro and Outlook Express. Suggestions please. Mike

Close OE.

Go to Start > Run and type in regsvr32 urlmon.dll and hit enter.(make sure you leave a space between regsvr32 and urlmon.dll )

When you receive the "DllRegisterServer in urlmon.dll succeeded" message,hit OK.

You might need to reboot first for the links to start working.

Reverend....I forewarded your suggestion to that girl a few days ago. She apparently also has a problem with her Verizon modem which she had to return, so she was unable so far to make that change as you suggested. I will write back when she does. Thanks, Mike

Reverend..Just wanted to let you know that girl finally got back to me, and said that the instruction worked, about clicking on a link and the computer did not respond, all is well now. We both thank you. Mike
