ActiveX Controls
Hi First time visit and I've searched to find my answer but deff need help. I'm using Windows XP home edition and IE6 both with SP1 updates. I've noticed since the upgrades I do not always see the activex pictures on some web sites. If I right click the mouse where the picture should be and select show picture it will pop up as will all other pictures not showing on that web page. I have looked in IE tools and internet options and in security checked all axtive x controls to enable but still do not always see the icons etc on some websites. could anyway help a newbie out thank you

Welcome Altibird.
Are you running DAP (Download accelerator).
If you are, there is a known conflict with DAP and IE6 SP1,which causes the image glitch. So far there is no fix.
In fact one of our members "Conan" first brought this problem to light, and has reported it to the DAP support staff, but unfortunately they were totally clueless and refused to accept the bug.

We should assign a name to this Bug Rev. How about the DAP bug? I have resorted to using Flashget, I don't like the features as much as DAP but it's better than no download manager at all.
