Mail icon in IE9

is this what you are missing the command bar.
On the IE while it open right click on the Menu toolbar ( on an empty area)
and select Customize Command Bar >> Add or Remove Commands.
On the Customize Toolbar under the Available toolbar buttons make sure the
Read Mail icon is highlighted and click on the Button in the middle of the
window called Add->.

phishhead....Thanks for the reply. I was able to get the command bar up top, which does include the mail icon. However that command bar takes up another half inch of space up top, and it has a lot of duplicates that are already included in that TOOL icon that is up at the top right, by default.
I was hoping to just get the mail icon on the bar that is already up top. Mike
