Vista registry cleaner ... for freeze or hang up,
Does Vista have a utility to clean|fix the regisrty ?
If not is there a good freeware version ?
Looking into a issue with Vist locking up/freezing from time to time.
It lasts 1-2 min, and nothing will work, not even alt-ctrl-del
I don't think its spyware etc, as I've cleaned it up.
Anyhow, some said it might be regisrty related.

I personally install it on all the computers I work on. As well as malwarebytes, and defraggler. both freeware too.

Thanks, I'll look into it, so am I correct that there is no internal Vista tool that will clean the reg. ?

There is no built in reg cleaner but you could try the Disk Defragmenter which will tidy up fragmented files.
Be warned though it can take hours to complete the defrag so you may want to schedule it to run at a time when you know you will not be using the laptop.
Programs > Accesories > System Tools > Disk Defragmenter
