If you missed the Halo games on Xbox, Microsoft and 343 Industries are offering PC owners a new way to play six of the Halo titles as part of a Master Chief Collection. The third in the collection launches next week.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection first appeared on Steam back in December and already offers access to Halo: Reach and Halo: Combat Evolved, leaving four more games to release. As Polygon reports, the next title to launch will be Halo 2: Anniversary on May 12, with news of the release date confirmed via the official Halo Twitter account and on Steam.

According to Microsoft, Halo 2: Anniversary is "Now optimized for PC, witness the Master Chief’s return to Earth to prevent the Covenant invasion, leading to a battle with long-hidden secrets that will dramatically alter the course of the Human-Covenant Conflict forever."

With Halo 2 available, we should expect another three titles to be launched as part of the collection. They include Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST, and Halo 4, all of which are set to become playable before the end of 2020. Meanwhile, Halo Infinite, the next entry in the franchise, arrives for holiday 2020 on Windows 10 and Xbox One (and therefore Xbox Series X, too).
