With just days remaining to meet its July deadline, Microsoft has started issuing Windows 11 preview builds to the Insider Program’s Beta channel.

“We are very excited to announce we are releasing Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 22000.100 to Windows Insiders in the Beta Channel,” Microsoft quietly revealed in an addition to a week-old blog post. “As always, be sure to check out the list of known issues [to find out whether there is] anything that could impact your experience on your PC.”

To be clear, the build that’s heading to Beta channel members is the same one that Dev channel testers got one week ago. But with Windows 11 now available for testing via two different Windows Insider Program channels, potential testers have choices related to how often they will see new builds. Those in the Dev channel will typically see a new build each week, while those in the Beta channel will see less frequent builds that have proven to be particularly stable.
