    I just popped in my xp pro cd and did an "upgrade" now it works! I think I need to install sp1 and uxtheme hack for my eye candy.
    + I had the satisfaction of calling ATT and canceling! lol!

    well yes, but instead of reformatting, I chose "upgrade"
    .........and they were supposed to make at least 45.00 for minimum install - but now I got it for free! lololl

    upgrade is the same as repair install on xp boot

    this installs xp and keeps all program dll's intact

    so it seems some files were corrupt omyour installation

    im glad your up and running


    i would of let them come to the door and let them knock for 10 minutes and then tell them i was trying to call you to tell you im online but ive been on hold for hours

    they will be happy to get the break

    Now are there some things I need/want?

    These are checked:

    Client for microsoft networks
    file and printer sharing for microsoft networks
    tcp/ip


    This is unchecked:

    Qos


    I should re-install Sygate huh?

    anything else I should know????
