    The only other thing I can think of is that you need to move your NIC to another slot. Perhaps it could be causing a IRQ error...
    Another thing, you have LAN 5, so where is LAN 1-4?
    I am sure if you did a clean install, this would solve the problem.. though you'd have to do some backing up of files and settings..

    I cannot believe you didn't get a manual... what kind of company delivers an item and tells you to figure it out without the manual. I would ask them to bring you a manual as well. When I got my cable modem, it came with about 3 booklets, and a quick start guide..
    Can you not get connected to the modem's configuration using the IP?
    Try this, open IE, click on tools, internet options, select connection tab, then check the box to NEVER dial your default connection.
    Then close IE and reopen it.
    Then type this address:
    http://192.168.100.1/

    Tell me if you can get into your configuration screen for your modem.
