BB's got the only solution I can see. Drag the 100gb into a working system as a slave and see if you can get any of the files out. Western Digital has pretty good Disk Utilities. You might be able to copy the disk onto the master, depending on how much free space the master has and how much data is actually on the 100gig. If you try this, it generates alot of heat. Keep the case open and an external fan on it. I think this your best shot. If the drive wont drive or the reader wont read, you're pretty much screwed. Last resort is to take it to a shop that specializes in data recovery. There are hundreds of them.
