Turn off Notebooks LCD screen by creating a short cut in windows

Hi, I have a DELL Inspiron 4100. I am wondering if there is a file or short cut that I can create in Windows XP to turn the screen off. Because now under the power management it takes 20mins before it turn itself off.
    Thanx

Not sure if there's a shortcut for that, but you can certainly change the amount of time to a shorter value to turn off the monitor in the Power Options.

    Welcome to the board voltech.
To follow up what Conan said.
Go to control panel > power options. On the power schemes tab you will see "turn off monitor" and a drop down menu beside it.
From the drop down menu, select the time you want the monitor to turn off,and click apply.
