    Internet Explorer Wallpaper Location

    Anyone know where it is? I've been searching, but to no avail...

    you know, when you right click an image in IE, and say set as background, then in the desktop settings, it says Internet Explorer wallpaper...

    I need to know where that file that they're showing for a desktop background is,...

    Look in C:\Documents and Settings\~yourname~\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer

    should be listed as Internet Explorer Wallpaper.bmp

    On my PC (using XP) it's in C:Windows/Web/Wallpaper

    DoTheDew wants to know where the IE backgrounds are stored when you right click a page and select "set as background".
    They are stored here:

    C:\Documents and Settings\~yourname~\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer

    Ah yes you're right, I've just never set wallpapers/backgrounds that way.
