    Question Background Colour in Wallpapers

    I,m using Win98 & find a thing really teasing in it(Might b it`ll b the case only with me).
    Whichever wallpaper I have & whatever is the method to set it I find that the area around the icons on the desktop shows the background colour.So in a paricular reagion around the text under the icons the background colour is shown.I don`t like it at all caze I`ve to set the background colour again & again with every change of wallpaper & the previous background colour does nt match the wallpaper colour & really seems to b awkward.
    Now can U help me in removing that background colour so that only my wallpaper is displayed on the desktop even at the back of the text under the icons.
