icon views in folders,windows XP home
I am running windows XP home on my computer, and I have tried in vain to lock in the icon views in folders, but they continualy change to another view than what I want...any suggestions as how to lock views ?

I'm not sure if this is what you are referring to but try this: open Windows Explorer, choose the type of view that you want, then click on Tools, Folder Options, View, then under Folder View click on "Apply to all folders".

It's the only way I know of although, it, for some reason, doesn't always work.
