    Question Need a good firewall for Windows 2003

    Hi!!

    I need a good firewall for Windows 2003.

    can someone give me a tip which one is the best???

    I've had no problems with Norton Internet Security (Norton Personal Firewall) here. Automatically blocks pop-ups and ads too (can be turned off).

    There are limited choices to work with here. Sygate will not work with Windows 2003 Server. I think Zone Alarm 4 and Tiny Firewall 4.5 will work with it but not sure really about their performance.

    Wink Firewall

    I use Norton Internet Security Professional 2004 startup disabled & Norton AV CORPORATE 8.11 only one that installs on a sever Both R workin` well & liveupdate has no prblems this seems 2 B stable combo` checked with Sheilds Up and am in STEALTH Mode... hope this helps wrkz4me

    What version of NIS/NAV is needed to for Server2k3 ?? does 2002 work? or only 2004 with the hassle of activation??

    Not sure about NIS 2002. NAV has to be the Corp version.
