    Windows Explorer stack fault

I'm having a problem with Windows Explorer on a 98SE computer. Double-clicking on My Computer or selecting Control Panel from the Start Menu causes an error message with the details showing that Windows Explorer has caused a stack fault in Kernel32.dll.

If I right click on My Computer and choose Explore, I can access the folders and Control Panel.

    Anybody have any ideas?

Have you recently uninstalled any programs?
First thing i suggest you do is run a virus scan.If the scan finds nothing try the links below which explain stack fault errors/solutions in detail.
