Personally I would remove the card from the system and reboot. Once you get back into Windows you can remove the DSL software. Hopefully that will get you back to a clean starting point so you can try again. Also I copied all the .CAB files onto the hard drive on my 98 machines into Windows/Options/Cabs folder so if something does ask for the cd I just point it there...
