    i read my mag pcworld today and it said that rumors have it that its going to come out until 2006

    That's what it seems to be biker. So you'll have nearly 5 years of XP if you were an early adopter back in Oct. 2001. Sucks, but SP2 for windows XP should be out shortly and that has a lot of updates and extra features, given that the SP2 Beta is over 200MB. Quite a bit of code in 200MB.

    Those links should give you a good overall rundown of the current situation happening over at the labs in Redmond, but as always, they could be way off the mark and MS slip something out that is totally different.. but I doubt it.

    I adpoted XP early, even when to queue up for it when it was released. But it made alot of my old programs incompetable... I've since gotten new programs.

    And its not a bit of code, its approx. 16,000,000 bits of code.
