Welcome Grymm - I'm a re-format junky as well - answer to all my problems.

I hate having to do it, but love that fresh clean sheets feel you get with a newly re-formatted system

Well all else fails - re-format

Hey, fellas! I'm new to the "forum" environment so if I post or thread wrong please forgive me. I was attracted to the site by its insightful members on various issues. I also had a problem with my PC and decided to join and post my problem to have some light shed on it. Everyone has been very helpful and I'm proud to say that I plan to stay with this "Forum Family" as long as I'm allowed to. Thanks again!

Hidey-ho everyone, I just registered. Gotta have at least one post, so here it is.

I've been playing around with computers since I purchased a Vic-20 back in the early 80's. No matter what other hobbies I pursue, I end up coming back to computers. I'm a Canadian who loves the NFL, enjoys playing chess, and wish there were more hours in the day so I could surf the net even longer.

    cheers,

    RayG

I wouldnt worry too much about trying not to step on people's toes Alliswoe, everyone is pretty easy going. It is good to see someone with strong opinions and Im sure these guys like to argue anyway.

Its actually quite funny all the arguements in the 'politics' sections... I guess the best way to stop these troubles would be to vote for the opposition government party. Australia and USA are in middle of election campaigns and they both are hanging by last little threads over the stupid IRAQ problem.

Oh well, anyway, welcome to all the new members. Cheers.

    Thumbs up greetings from india!

i know this comes around 20 odd post late but i figured the sooner i did this the better it would be.

my real name (no different from my display name) is rohit kumar (rohit means red in sanskrit) i stay in hyderabad, andhra pradesh: a province in southern india and study in grade 11 (called intermediate first year here). im a student of science (majoring in math, physics and chemistry) and am preparing for the IIT JEE's which i shall face in 2006.

i came accross techzones as a result of a search on 'technology forums' on google and am thankful to have joined it. techzones, when compared to other tech forums, is miles ahead because of its polite tone and it's super computing genius members, the one's who take time to answer the childlike querries i come up with ever so often...

my tech knowledge base, which i had presumed to be encyclopeadia like earlier, isn't very large. i could be best defined as novice, though i intend to change that label soon...
