Can't get PCMCIA NIC to work!!!!!
HELP!!!!!!!!!!!
Just bought an HP Omnibook Laptop from a friend. CPU is 433 so XP works. I can't for the life of me get the PCMCIA NIC card to work. I point it to XP drivers.....it won't work! This is a Network Everywhere PCMCIA NIC Card NP100.
Am I doing something wrong? Am I installing it wrong? I'm a rookie at Laptops......
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks
Sharon

I would reinstall the driver with the card out and then reboot with it in and see if xp picks it up. I had to go a buy one for my laptop went wireless so I just picked up the dlink usb nic. works like a champ @ 108mb.
