Cache folder in Firefox

I can't find how to change the cache folder in Firefox! The only option that I can see in "Tools->Options->Privacy->Cache" is the maximum used disk space.
In Mozilla suite I can choose a specific folder with "Edit->Preferences->Advanced->Cache" and it seems to me this feature has been removed in Firefox.
I also unsuccessfully tried with "about:config" (discovered in the "Speed Tweaks For Firefox" thread started by Conan).

I don't know how to change the cache folder 'cause I rarely use Firefox or Mozilla. But I think you can find the folder by typing this in the "Run..." dialog box:
%userprofile%\APPLICATION DATA\

Then try to look for a folder that's called Mozilla or Firefox.
I'm not sure though.

type about:config in firefox

right click and select new string

string: browser.cache.disk.parent_directory
value: C:\your new directory name\

you can view your cache by typing
about:cache

memory or disk

Great! Thank you very much egghead.
Do you now other hidden commands like about:config, about:cache?
