I suggest you lose the attitude,otherwise no one will be prepared to give you an answer.If you had run the repair first,instead of rushing into a reinstall you wouldn't have this problem.

From the tone of your replies and the fact that you have admitted using "illegal" keygens suggests to me that your copy of XP may not be legit. However if it is legit,contact Microsoft and explain your situation.They will probably ask for the numbers that can be found printed on the centre of the CD.With that info they will issue a new key.

As far as i am aware the CD key cannot be extracted directly from the CD,otherwise there would be no point in M$ printing it on the case sticker.
