Yes these XP versions are very much real, I got my hands on a copy of the 5 in 1 version a while back....still havent used it yet
this is the one that I have...don't ask me how they do it but it works. It also has in the tools dir aspi, cdrwin, winrar, winzip, flashfxp, and the partition magic boot disks.
That new 5in1 used the 1105.1 or 1105 SP1 which is not final AFAIK...
BUt as soon as they bring out the 5in1 for 1106 I am ready for downloading it! hehehe

Well in IE my version says 6.0.2800.1106.xpsp1, in my Intel System Info it says: Windows XP version 5.1 Service Pack 1 build.
Did you use the 5in1 XP installation CD? Just wondering as I had thought you used an external SP1 to update your XP installation.

External Service Pack. I just slipstreamed SP1 with Windows XP but I am having difficulty making it bootable. The guides on Bink and justinjowas are not too easy to accomplish!

Above is a guide to do it using nero and Easy CD creator. I found this over at xp-erience.org

TackTech have written up two guides for updating your WindowsXP CD to include the service pack when installing...You will need a copy of the WindowsXP CD and the service pack download, you will still need a valid CD key and activation will still be required. They currently have the following guides:
Using Nero.
Using Easy CD Creator.
All this does is install WindowsXP and the service pack, but many people like to slipstream their copys of XP to save time and hard disk space.

Thanks Boogs, I was finally able to make a bootable slipstreamed CD! But in the process I created one which does not boot, I guess I'll have to dispose of that one properly. I was originally trying it on a CDRW so that I could re-do it if made a mistake but Nero would not finish burning it. Oh joy, the agony is over!
