That link discusses your specific message, but deals with windows 2000. Which "SHOULD" be the same solution for Xp.. but no guarantee.

To abort a shutdown:

click start, click run and type "shutdown -a" without the quotes and that should stop the computer from rebooting... that is if you have time enough to input the command.
