I encountered a problem with my fiancee's machine, which I had to reformat her drive. I then installed XP Home from the recovery CD (supplied by the company she purchased the machine). Problem I'm having now is, Office XP will not install!!!! It keeps telling me that the "Office1.cab file may be corrupt" . Now I've installed this without problems on my machine and it was installed on her machine prior to her disk problem. What pisses me off, is the installation problem occurs at different points yet always refers to the Office1.cab file.
Surely there's someone here who can assist me. Help me before I lose myself in a bottle of Johnny Walker Black!!!! ... LOL

Thanks REVEREND! It appears she has a faulty mb so I'm going to replace it. I've since put the bottle away(I was only kidding about the drinking, but I honestly felt like throwing the damn machine out the window!)
Anyway, thanks for your help.
